On September 1, under the co-ordination of the municipal government, our institute and HIT Rongcheng College organized an expert delegation to observe some enterprises in Rongcheng City. President Shi Yizhong led the leadership cadres above the middle level of our institute to participate. The activity was led by Secretary Xu Dongpu, Zhang Guangqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shidao Management Zone, Zhang Hongpu, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Management Committee of the Economic Development Zone, and Zhang Shaowu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Deputy Director of the Management Committee of the Economic Development Zone of the city, personally visited the site to have face-to-face communication with the delegation members. This observation is an important initiative for our institute to participate in the implementation of the strategic deployment of "Science and Technology for Rongcheng" development.
The delegation visited 12 key large enterprises, such as Rongcheng Yuxiang Industry, Huatai Automobile, Shuguang Gear, Huali Motor, Forging Machine Tool, Huanghai Clutch, Rongjia Motor, Haisan Machinery, Shen Blower, Huapeng Glass, Weihai Shidao Heavy Industry, Huanghai Shipbuilding, etc., deeply into the plant, workshop, field visit product production, processing process, and exchange with the responsible person of the enterprise to understand the relevant industry information and enterprise At the same time, the delegation also visited the Rongcheng City Urban Planning Exhibition Hall and the intercity railroad infrastructure projects under construction. During the visit, Secretary Xu Dongpu introduced the whole economy development layout of Rongcheng City to the delegation members in detail, and gave a full explanation of each enterprise's practice profile.
"Accelerate the realization of science and technology innovation as the driving force, promote structural adjustment and transformation and upgrading, and promote the construction of the 'two pioneer areas'" is an important strategy to promote the rapid development of the "blue zone" economy in Rongcheng City. As the only technician college in Weihai City, our college has unique advantages in the cultivation of technician profession.
