Practical Training Department

Weihai Technician College Training Department was established in 2009. It is mainly responsible for the on-campus practical teaching of technicians and senior engineers, the metalworking practice tasks for students from Rongcheng College of Harbin University of Science and Technology, and the training and identification of general jobs for social training in Rongcheng City.

The training department has 24 teachers, including 15 with bachelor degree or above, 13 senior technicians and 4 technicians. There are 4 fitter training workshops, 3 numerical control training workshops, 2 numerical control programming training rooms, 2 electrical and electronic training workshops, 1 mechatronics training workshop, 2 automobile repair training workshops, 6 welding training workshops, 19 professional laboratories. Covering an area of 15,000 square meters, the building area of more than 9,000 square meters, the total value of the existing practical training equipment and equipment is more than 30 million yuan.

The Training Department adheres to the working style of "fine work, fine business, strict work and realistic style", establishes the development goal of "double high in virtue and technology", and follows the principle of closely combining production practice, promoting the combination of work and study, and highlighting the cultivation of practical ability, so as to make greater contribution to the local economic construction and the continuous development of the college.
