Intelligent manufacturing training base

Weihai Intelligent Manufacturing Training Base is located in the seaside of Laoshan Mountain, Rongcheng, covering an area of 40 mu, with a total construction area of 19000 square meters, including the training building (CNC milling training base) with a construction area of 9000 square meters, teaching and research building of 7000 square meters, expert apartment of 3000 square meters, newly built by Weihai State-owned Assets Group with an investment of 68 million yuan. On this basis, Rongcheng Municipal Government invested 42 million yuan to purchase advanced facilities and equipment. In the next two years, we plan to invest another 40 million yuan, focusing on the construction of Shandong Shsai training Base and other projects, with a total investment of about 150 million yuan. Cooperated with Rongcheng College of Harbin University of Science and Technology to carry out the training of "1+X" undergraduate preparatory technician; cooperated with Weihai Campus of Harbin Institute of Technology to establish "Weihai Intelligent Equipment Research Institute" to carry out the training of intelligent equipment R&D and manufacturing; cooperated with Rheinkost of Germany to establish the "Sino-German Intelligent Manufacturing Talent Dual Training Excellent Technician Class". In 2019, it was evaluated as a "National Training Base for highly skilled talents" by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.

Advanced equipment level of the training base. Weihai intelligent manufacturing training base overall level in the province's leading position. Currently completed investment projects include: a VR hall of exhibition training base; An integrated production line of intelligent machining unit connected with CNC milling; Three robot workstations to expand CNC milling: welding workstation, palletizing workstation, deburring workstation; Six analytical CNC milling basic training room: industrial robot pneumatic manipulator training room, industrial robot RV reducer training room, industrial robot technology simulation training room, numerical control programming training room, PLC training room, new energy vehicle training room; Four CNC milling theory teaching intelligent classroom. It is also equipped with modern teaching and research buildings and comfortable expert apartments. In the future planning, several training rooms such as mechatronic integration, electrical devices and industrial control will also be complete, and will be fully equipped with the ability to undertake the intensive training of various first-class skill competitions and provincial competitions, as well as the training ability of intelligent manufacturing highly skilled talents.

A training base for high-level events. In 2019, Weihai Intelligent Manufacturing Training Base successfully undertook the Weihai City Selection Competition and Shandong Provincial Selection Competition for CNC Milling project of the 46th World Skills Competition. In 2020, Weihai Intelligent Manufacturing Training Base undertook the Shandong Provincial Assembled training team for CNC Milling project of the 46th World Skills Competition. It is the highest level and highest level competition that our college has undertaken since its establishment. It is the first time that corporate sponsorship is introduced into the municipal vocational skills competition and the first time that it is introduced into the provincial traditional skills competition. The organizing work of the competition has been highly praised by experts from all over the country, leaders of provincial and municipal human resources and social security departments and all participating units in the province.

The training base with excellent performance in competition. Weihai Intelligent Manufacturing Training Base has strong teachers. In 2018, it recruited 5 skill masters from the winners of the National Skills Contest. In 2019, the teachers team of the base participated in the third National Intelligent Manufacturing Application Technology Skills Contest and won the second prize in the Shandong Provincial Selection Contest for maintenance electrician and the second prize in the National final. The second prize of Shandong Provincial Selection and the third prize of the national final for Assembly fitter Competition, and the first prize of the Weihai Selection of CNC Milling project, the first prize of the Weihai Selection of CAD Mechanical Design Project and the first prize of the Shandong Provincial Selection of CNC Milling project were awarded to the students in the 46th World Skills Competition.

Weihai Intelligent Manufacturing Training Base is the breakthrough of the fourth venture of the college, and also a major measure for the college to realize the transformation project of old and new growth drivers and improve core competitiveness. Through the construction of intelligent manufacturing training base, it leads local enterprises to make progress towards high-end equipment manufacturing industry, fundamentally improves the efficiency and quality of enterprises, and solves the practical problems of difficult and expensive labor.
